Week of CompassionWeek of Compassion is the relief, refugee, and development fund for the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in United States and Canada. While their name is misleading to think they only take action one week out of the year, they work year round to reach all corners of the world and in our backyard through local contacts. Week of Compassion allows Disciples to provide immediate and critical needs. For more info visit the website at www.weekofcompassion.org Bowls of Compassion is a fundraiser to benefit the Week of Compassion. This fundraiser allows attendees to purchase a uniquely handcrafted ceramic bowl to fill with soup, macaroni and cheese, salad, bread, and dessert for $8.00 on February 26, 2017 from 11:30-2pm. The bowls have been designed by our congregation and community members.
